Whether onboard your vessel or on shore, you will be able to control virtually any AC and / or DC electrical convenience and or safety system from up to 1,000 feet.(1) The “Patent-Pending” Wireless on Water, LLC (WOW) system incorporates the use of a fixed position receiver or IPM (Intelligent Processing Module) and a remote transmitter or ROB (Remote On / off Board).
The optional ROBEE (Remote On / off Board Emergency Enunciator) is a safety device that can provide overboard alerts for children or pets and on shore emergency notification of potential child predator actions. It is a “must have” to increase the peace of mind you desire.
WOW is the latest advancement in marine vessel control improving convenience, reliability and safety while docked or underway.
Convenience – Whether you dock at a marina, your residence, or on the hard, you have the option to turn on or off any light (boarding, cockpit, deck, salon cabin, bridge) remotely…WOW!
You can also remotely activate electrical systems such as air conditioning, heat, hot water, fresh water system, stereo, head, trim tabs, power venting, to mention a few.
For those boaters that may have a private AC hoist or AC docking lighting, with the optional Remote On / of Node (RON) you will have the added convenience of remotely lowering and raising your hoist or simply turning on navigation lights on your dock giving way to safe passage.
Reliability – The state-of-the-art solid state circuitry assures reliability. In addition, the system incorporates numerous intelligent subsystems that manage and control vessel load characteristics and a mechanical bypass feature to assure vessel system reliability if the WOW system ever fails. The All Off feature can be used to assure that all remotely activated systems are off in order to minimize the potential for battery drain.
Safety - Getting ready to cast off? Did you remember to turn on the bilge blower(s) for the mandated time period? No problem…WOW can help!
If you are going out at night you will appreciate the fact that you will be able to turn on the lights for safe boarding and disembarking, not to mention the WOW factor while walking down the dock.
While staying on board for the night, if you have an uninvited guest, simply push the ROB “SOS” button to sound the emergency horn.(3) This feature can also be used while on the water.
Ever left an accessory on which resulted in a dead battery? Well… no more; simply push the “All Off” button on the ROB, and all activated systems controlled by the system will be turned off.
Those that rack store boats and have forgotten to adjust the trim tabs prior to lifting will now be able to raise or lower them remotely. These are a few of the safety systems that can be activated by the WOW system.
MEET THE CREW
ROB (Remote On / off board) – This remote wireless transmitter is a standard system component that provides shore or vessel system control up to 1,000 feet away. (1) With seven activation buttons, the ROB can be used to control virtually any 12, 24 VDC or 110, 220 VAC controlled system, including (but not limited to) any of the following safety and convenience systems;
Blowers, CD radio / stereo, Boarding lighting, Cabin lighting, Deck lighting, Salon Lighting, Bridge, Underwater Hull lighting, Air Conditioning, Heat, Hot Water Heater, Head (sanitation), Fresh water system, trim tabs, Convertible tops, Engine hatches, Power vents / portholes, Instrumentation, Windlasses/winches, Emergency horn/lights, spot lights, Live bait wells, Shore Power Cords, Seat Actuators, Seat heating (Ski boats), dock hoist controls, dock lights, marine rotary switches, Hot tubs, and Global All Off.
The ROB is attractively styled and is designed to comfortably fit in you pocket or purse. It includes a key ring and a lanyard so that you are able to carry it around your neck. The ROB is waterproof and is designed to float.(2) Up to 32 ROB’s can be purchased to link to one vessel.
IPM (Intelligent Process Module)– The receiver is also a standard system component and is the “brains” of the system. The IPM receives input from the ROB, processes the information, and then sends the electronic message to the specific vessel or shore system to be activated. In addition to controlling specific systems, the WOW system also incorporates important capabilities such as:
Sure Start –Monitors the battery charge condition along with individual load currents, activation time, and significance of the load to safe vessel operation and will systematically shut down ROB activated systems to ensure that enough charge remains in the battery to start the engine.
No Blow Technology – Protects the electronics by automatically limiting the current draw and shuts down the power if the load is drawing excessive current rated for that output.
Smart Theater Lights –Press and hold the ROB button to raise or dim light intensity. With a single button push the lights will turn on to the last light intensity setting.
Manual Switch Control – The operator can override any ROB system function by activating factory installed hard wired system switch(s). If the ROB is ever lost or left at home, the vessel systems can still be operated manually.
Pass Thru Protection - If for any reason the IPM becomes inoperable, simply unplug the “in” and “out” connectors from the IPM and plug them into each other, thereby returning the systems to a 100% operational state.
All Off – Allows you to turn off all ROB activated functions with the press of one button, providing the peace of mind that the battery will not be drained.
ROBEE (Remote On / off board Emergency Enunciator) – This optional child safety device can be used both on and off the water. In the event where a child or pet falls into the water, ROBEE automatically sends a signal to the IPM which recognizes an “overboard condition” resulting in SOS horn blasts. (3) The ROBEE also contains an “SOS” or emergency button that can be used on shore or in the water. When pressed, the ROBEE sends a signal to the IPM which is recognized as an “emergency condition” resulting in SOS horn blasts. (1)(3)
RON (Remote On / off Node) – The RON is an optional wireless remote node that allows the capability to control vessel systems for any size vessel, no mater how large. The RON allows the operator to control vessel systems that may be difficult or nearly impossible to reach with secondary wiring, e.g. accessories that are installed on a bulk head wall or routed from an upper deck to a lower deck.
Additionally the RON allows for the remote control of high load systems that exceed the current carrying capabilities of theIPM, such as AC lights, large AC compressors, or motors that are used to drive winches, hatches, trim tabs, I/O motors, etc. Also, multiple RON’s can be used to control multiple accessories with a single button press.
SYSTEM FLEXIBILITY
The WOW System is flexible and can accommodate virtually any size vessel or marine application. The ROB is available in a numbered format (1- 6) as shown below or you can purchase a ROB that is ideally suited to your needs with graphic icons that provide meaningful visual reference for the system you are activating (see price sheet for additional information).

SYSTEM INSTALLATION
The WOW System has been designed to be simple to install and can typically be installed in most marine vessels in a matter of a few hours or less.
Notes:
1. Signal strength can be affected by numerous variables. Performance may vary greatly based upon distance, weather, orientation, structures, and other electronics device interference.
2. The ROB has been tested to float with one key.
3. The system may be optionally configured to flash lighting in addition to the audible SOS alert provided by the vessel horn.
4. Maximum load is 20 amps for this circuit. Circuits that experience higher loads may be controlled with an optional RON.
